Welcome, developer! Read this guide if you want to know more about registering a resource at Caesar Marketplace.
Prerequisites
First of all, you have to develop a plugin for Caesar. To create a new resource page, go to https://market.caesarnet.cloud/create.
There, you have to state a name for your plugin. Also, you have to give us a short and a long description about it.
The following information is required:
- Category: Main category (important for filtering)
- Name: The name of your plugin.
- Short description: This will be displayed in the preview on the search page.
- Long description: The description displayed on the plugin page.
- Minecraft compatibility: Check this, if your plugin is also compatible as an extension for CaesarConnector.
- Caesar Version: Select compatible versions of Caesar.
- Source Code link: Link to the source code. This will help us approving your plugin way faster.
- Sponsor link: If there is a sponsor link, provide it here.
- Wiki link: Link any documentation about your plugin here.
- License: Select your project license (if applicable)
Your plugin has to approved by us before publication. Here are reasons why plugins may not get approved:
- Containing any form of malware, spyware, phishing links
- Causes Caesar nor Minecraft to crash
- Makes Caesar nor Minecraft lagging
- The plugin is a redistribution of another
Note: although a plugin is licensed under e.g. GPL v3, we do not approve redistributed plugins on our page.
There are some methods making the approvement faster:
- Providing a link to source code
- Giving a full documentation about features and installation
